Since the release of the Windows 8 Developer preview, it has been the talk of the town for quite so long, there were a few thumbs up for the OS but still they can't avoid having some sort of negative feedback. Experiencing the new Windows 8 OS brings a lot of commotion, and problems were reported from a few customers. Well it's granted that it's still a developer's preview, thus making it vulnerable to such problems and issues. Before you start blaming your new OS, try checking first the driver of your printer, improper drivers or installation of your printer may possibly be the caused of problem. If you're not sure if you've downloaded the proper driver for your printer, then please do check it from HP's support and drivers website. Aside from the printer's driver, recheck your printer's accessories like HP laser toner cartridges and HP ink cartridges, as well as the other components that may affect the printers performance.

  1. Go to the Start menu in the Windows 8 developer preview.
