Based on the results from a survey conducted by Brother International Corporation from their annual Brother Small Business Survey, examining the role of technology in small businesses. The company found out a surprisingly huge percentage of small business owners complaining about the trouble of having a malfunctioning computer unit over the absence of an employee.
Technology is indeed substantial for running a business, yet in fact due to the number of technologies available to choose from, office and business owners find it overwhelming to determine which one is suitable for them.
John Wandishin, Brother Vice President of Marketing, stated, “This year’s small business survey found that technology is just as important as a healthy workforce." He then added, "The results emphasize the importance of delivering reliable and easy-to-use products to promote a productive working environment."
Brother as a premium provider of personal, home and home office printer equipments, emphasizes the essence of having a product that delivers reliability and user-friendliness for efficient productivity. The conducted survey reveals a lot of figures which partially determines the impact of technologies in every working environment.
Printer equipments as an example, can delay reports, hence resulting to missed deadlines, or worse to lose opportunities for your business. Even when the printer's consumables such as brother toner cartridges and inkjet cartridges does not work properly, it can potentially cause the same amount of trouble. Productivity and other similar factors can be greatly affected due to malfunctioning devices or computers which are used in delivering office and business tasks.
Investing for better and high-quality office equipments can be the key to prevent such negative impacts that technology can bring to any business environment. Additionally, the proper use of such devices may lessen the percentage of malfunctioning devices in the office. But take note that neither conditions : having a faulty machine nor absence of employees, cannot be eliminated, but can be avoided through proper ways and solutions.
