Canon's New MFP Printers - imageCLASS MF8280CW and imageCLASS MF8580CDW

Canon recently came up with a new pair of imageCLASS laser printers, the imageCLASS MF8280Cw and  MF8580Cdw MFP printers. Catering enhanced modern color printing solution, high-performance, and considerably efficient for most working environments.

Sam Yoshida, Canon's Vice President and General Manager of Business Imaging Solutions Group, stated :
“To remain competitive in this market, home and office users need workhorse products that produce professional quality output at affordable prices. The new Color imageCLASS laser multifunction printers are high-performance machines that include necessary functions such as wireless connectivity to help create an efficient work environment.”

Now with that having said, Canon must have been really taking it tough to compete with the other brands, but from my own opinion, I think they're doing great along with the other. Back to the two new models, giving a brief description will do for now, and later I'll create a post with more probably in-depth description about these imageCLASS color printers.

First let's have the imageCLASS MF8280CW, this one offers a nice print speed up to 14ppm (pages per minute) both in plain black and coloured printing. The excellent printout quality of the said model has been achieved using Canon's Pure Black and Auto Graduation Adjustment technology which can produce accurate and consistent prints. Also let's give credits to Canon premium quality inkjet cartridges and laser toner cartridges. Paper handling supports a 150 sheet input cassette tray, plus a 50 sheet ADF (automatic document feeder), including a multipurpose single-sheet tray.

On the other hand, the imageCLASS MF8280CW provides better printing solution. In terms of functionality, this one is far efficient, rated at 21ppm (pages per minute) print speed both in black and coloured printing. It also supports duplex (double-sided) printing, scanning, copying and fax, through its mono seven-line display.

The imageCLASS MF8580CDW incredibly allows scanned files to be emailed or even send it to fax directly from the printer's display interface. Its paper handling capacity holds a 250 sheet input cassette tray (in front), plus a 50 sheet multipurpose tray, accompanied by a 50 sheet ADF (automatic document feeder). If you want to expand its standard capacity, there's an optional 250 sheet cassette tray which can be purchased separately.

Both models - imageCLASS MF8280CW and imageCLASS MF8580CDW, works compatibly with Google Cloud Print as well as with Canon Mobile Print app mainly for iOS devices. According to the news, these two new printers will soon be available by April which is actually next month.
