The Toner Expert
What would you prefer buying, an inkjet type of printer, or a laser type of printer? Most of the consumers would probably prefer purchasing inkjet printers, simply because of budget wise it's way too cheaper compare to the other type of printer. While there are also few consumers who would rather opt to purchase the laser type of printer, mainly because of the workload and output that it can deliver for a short period of time. Consumers from this bracket are mainly from the professional fields and businesses who has a greater need for printing compared to common individuals and personal home printer users.

While there can be a considerable draw back from using laser printers, which is the quite expensive price range of its laser toner cartridges. Though the cost per page, and the page yield of your printer cartridges are worth enough for the amount that you have spent. But if you can't refrain yourself from thinking about the money you are spending from purchasing replacement cartridges, might as well start an economical way of printing to save your toners from getting wasted, and utilize your cartridges to the fullest extent.

To make your laser toners last much longer, you can practice printing only what you need or if you can't restrict yourself from printing unnecessary files, then better switch to black and white. Avoid printing colored documents, as much as you can print it in plain color then do it. Colored printing can be costly, so if will just print drafts, text, or files of the same type which are not that important, use black toners and reserve your color toners for more important files.

You can also set the printers setting to economical mode, this feature is made available mostly to recent models of printer. Printer users are getting conscious about their printing, and manufacturers are aware of this, and so they developed a feature that can help their consumers to easily set their printers to economical mode of printing, where the printer sets the quality of prints to low color quality. This feature is quite similar to grayscale printing, and can be helpful if you only print text and word documents.

Keep this in mind, files that require higher quality of printing consumes a lot of ink or toners, hence you can print this type of files only and if necessary. Use low ink or toner quality when printing word documents for personal purposes, unless it's part of your report. You may also opt to try remanufactured toner cartridges and ink cartridges which are cost-effective and budget friendly.
