The HP PhotoSmart 7520 e-AIO printer can be considered as the advance version of HP PhotoSmart 6520 e-AIO. Pack with more additional features, not to mention its similar features that can be found from the latter model. It comes with a larger screen display about 4.33'' intuitive touch screen control panel, and includes an automatic duplexing feature that lets you print on both sides of a page. Plus a 25-sheet automatic document feeder for scanning multi-page documents and legal size pages easily.
If you've been used to HP's Wireless Direct, then you'll be more interested into this printer once you've heard that it has the enhanced version of HP PhotoSmart Printer's Wi-Fi Direct. Providing all the ease for users to connect directly using their laptop, tablet and smartphones to the printer. The 7520 e-AIO comes with a built-in ability to fax, both directly from the front panel and
from a computer, including over a network.
Though we may find some quite similarities to HP's 6520 model, HP PhotoSmart 7520 can't just be considered as its second version. It has a different ink system that greatly improves both the printer printout quality and printing speed. Also, unlike the 6520 that uses the typical four cartridges, this one uses five HP ink cartridges, creating better images and prints with its additional photo black ink.
In addition to its common features, 7520 e-AIO printer can also print and scan directly from or to memory cards and USB memory keys. Allowing you to preview photos and images on its 4.33'' screen display before you get them printed. It also works with HP Web Apps and
HP's version of cloud printing as well as other mobile apps, including
Apple AirPrint and the HP ePrint Home & Biz print app (for printing
from both Android and iOS devices).
However, on the contrary of all its good features, HP PhotoSmart 7520 e-AIO deosn't offer an Ethernet connection for wired network, which means that a user needs to connect it via Wi-Fi connection to use ePrint, AirPrint, or HP's Web
apps. If you're the type of user who avoids wireless network for your own security reasons, well you'll have a problem using its features. Good thing HP ePrint Home&Biz print application can work with an HP Wireless
Direct connection to the printer, whether you have a Wi-Fi network or
not.
When it comes to print speed, it's unbelievably comparable to the printing speed of a laserjet printer equipped with advanced laser toner cartridges. Making it a better choice for business or even home printing needs. All in all, even if it lacks some certain features, HP PhotoSmart 7520 e-AIO printer is worth considering for home offices and businesses.
