Brother HL-3000 Series A Range Of Digital Color LED Laser Printers

Brother International recently launched its Brother HL-3000 series, it is a range of digital color LED printers built to provide professional printing solutions for most small businesses. One of its highly noted features is the support for cloud printing through AirPrint technology. It was said that the new range will be available this March, so for those retailers that offer the Brother HL-3000 series expect a number of inquisitive customers on your shop starting this week.

The two laser printer models in the HL-3000 series include, the Brother HL-3140CW and Brother HL-3170CDW, the later model comes with more great features and faster print speed, it also offers the same features of what the first one can provide. Both models can produce crisp black and vivid color printouts suitable enough for professional and business printing standards. With Brother's Digital LED Print Technology, users can experience a print resolution up to 600 x 2400 dpi (dots-per-inch).

In addition to their similar features, the HL-3170CDW offers a print speed of up to 23 ppm (pages per minute), a bit faster compared to the 19 ppm rated speed of HL-3140CW. For the connectivity interfaces, Brother HL-3170CDW offers an additional Ethernet, including a wireless 802.11 b/g/n and a USB 2.0 port which is also available in the HL-3140CW model. 

Aside from the distinguishing features that HL-3170CDW offers, it also supports Duplex (double-sided) printing. While both supports a 250-sheet (input tray) paper handling capacity which can be adjusted depending on the paper media inserted, there's also a multipurpose single-page manual feeder that works for thick width media like cards and envelopes.

Both models support high-capacity replacement brother toner cartridges, which according to Brother these high-yield cartridges can provide lower cost per copy over standard capacity cartridges. Another notable features that Brother HL-3000 series offer in terms of cost-efficiency include, Deep Sleep Mode and Auto Off Mode, which cut down the printer's power consumption.
