Epson recently launched a new range of printers particularly the L-series which comes with a set of single-function and multifunction inkjet models that use an enhanced ink tank system leaning towards providing a lower cost printing solution.

The single function models included from L-series are as follows :
  • Epson L110
  • Epson L300
  • Epson L800
While for the multifunction models, here are the models included :
  • Epson L210
  • Epson L350
  • Epson L355
  • Epson L550
Each inkjet printer that is part of the L-series is equipped with detachable ink tanks which tends to reduce ink spills during refilling process. In addition, to avoid ink leakage from the tank, a choke valve is provided at the side of each ink tank which prevents leakage.

Epson's ink tank system particularly the one that has been utilized for the L-series printer, can be refilled but only using the Epson's original ink. This can be such a great help to cut down printing expenses, especially for customers who consumed a lot of Epson ink cartridges and laser toner cartridges very often. Also, you won't have to worry about the hassle that any printer user have to undergo when refilling cartridges, as Epson always makes it sure that their products are customer-oriented and user-friendly as well.

If you try to compare the new ink tank system over traditional ink cartridges, you'll notice a significant difference in terms of cost efficiency, as each ink tank yields up to 4,000 pages.

Upon purchasing an L-series Epson printer, along with the new ink tank system comes a set of a single black 70ml ink bottle and three 70ml colour ink bottles which can last up to 6,500 coloured printouts. For the availability of the L-series printers, Epson announced that the said range will become available by March, while the L800 model will soon be released by May.
