To expand means to launch new products, with the attempt to bring back what has been lost, Fuji Xerox - subsidiary of Fujifilm Holdings Corporation, is in a steady of introducing brand-new printer equipments in the Print Industry.
Practically targeting the market of large-size printing, Fuji Xerox released their newest print device that offers high-speed and high-capacity features. The DocuWide 2055, as its model name implies, is a wide format digital printer that supports printing large-scale media such as A1 sheets. It can shoot out two-page widespread Japan-size newspaper at a rated print speed of 7ppm (pages/sheets per minute).
Aside from its high-speed key-feature, the DocuWide 2055 has a noteworthy print resolution quoted at 600x600dpi (dots per inch). Additionally, this device can automatically detect the size and type of print data from which it uses the said information to select the appropriate paper/media sheet to print on. With the printer's auto-loading system, things are simply automated inside the machine, from loading and cutting of sheets.
It requires rolls of paper media, and can hold two different types and sizes of rolls at the same time. The user should set the edge of the paper material to the roller, and everything will work automatically. Considering it's unique auto-loading system, user intervention is partly minimized by excluding the need to manually change the rolls just to fit with the print data.
Depending on the user's way of installing the device, the printer's output mechanism adapts with the environment by supporting both front and back option of catching printouts. While replacing or refilling the paper rollers and laser toner cartridges can be done from the machine's front. The printer's control panel is actually located at its side, hence the power button and keys lie at the far right-edge of the device.
According to Fuji-Xerox's News Released, the DocuWide 2055 (Model-NP) will be sold in Japan at the moment, and will soon start its sale by last week of this month probably June 24.
