HP OfficeJet Pro 276dw Color MFP Inkjet Printer

HP OfficeJet Pro 276dw Color MFP Inkjet Printer
If you prefer an inkjet printer that has the support for CPL and PostScript at a marginal price, the HP OfficeJet Pro 276dw multifunction printer is just the right one. Its set of features is nearly identical to what a color laser printer could offer, specifically for a small-size office. Also it allows you to print, scan, copy and fax, either through wired or wirelessly over a network, and is capable of working as a standalone copier or fax machine.

Since the support of mobile printing is becoming more and more common in most printers nowadays, the 276dw wouldn't want to be left behind. Through its built in Ethernet and WiFi interfaces, users can be able to connect to the Internet and enable cloud printing. Apps such as AirPrint, aside from the printer's own HP ePrint app, can also be downloaded and use to print files directly from any iOS supported devices to the printer. In addition, HP also has their very own Wireless Direct, a counterpart of WiFi Direct, which allows users to connect their mobile devices to the printer even without the presence of a wireless network.

Paper capacity is quite enough considering that it's dedicated for small-level printing, however it doesn't have a multipurpose tray which means that switching the loaded paper to a different type can be a common task. its main tray can hold a maximum of 250 sheets of plain paper, with standard duplexing (double-sided printing) support. The good news is, the printer's paper handling capacity can be expanded by purchasing the optional 250-sheet second tray, maxing it out to a total of 500 sheets.

The 276dw's scanning functionality is quite impressive, offering a 50-page ADF (automatic-document-feeder), supplemented with a legal-size flatbed scanner. Duplexing works both for copying and scanning purposes, though flipping the page is a manual task.

For a small working environment with less printing needs, a quoted monthly duty cycle of 30,000 pages serves enough. Additionally, a maximum print resolution of 1200 x 1200dpi (dots-per-inch) can possibly produce optimal professional-quality printouts in both black and color printing. HP's thermal inkjet technology, which the 276dw uses, provides a significant reduction in printing cost since it only requires 4 hp inkjet cartridges (CYMK). Its consumables part number are : HP 950 (black), HP 951C (cyan), HP 951M (magenta), HP 951Y (yellow) - all in standard yield. While its high-yield cartridges are : HP 950XL (black) and HP 951XL for the CYM inks.
