Last month i had an article about Lexmark Will Stop Manufacturing Inkjet Printers. It is when Lexmark had announced their phased out on the company's InkJet businesses, and just recently Lexmark has made another announcement that they will also cancel their inkjet line business. But what about their Inkjet customers, what can they be expecting following this announcement? Lexmark Executive Vice President and President of Imaging Solutions and Services, Marty Canning, stated "We will still continue to provide our customers all of the supplies, support, maintenance, and technical support". Canning continued "Nothing will change, It's our intention anyway to cut short the value that our customers have purchased from us". Therefore product warranty and customer support are still provided, and Lexmark though making a market shift they will not abandon their inkjet customers.
The company's laser technology business is still effective and in a good standing, as a proof Marty Canning said that the company's laser printer business continuously evolve, both in hardware and printer supplies purchases. Since everything works and goes online, and if you think Lexmark has anything to say with this issue in regards to their business, Canning stated " Every time things go online, there’s more to print. We have a lot of activity around mobile printing, cloud
printing, print anywhere, print and release, and managed print services.
While things are shifting online, the volume is increasing content. ".
A lot of business analyst agreed with the company's decision to shift towards laser technology, and it seems just right, it was noticeable that Lexmark's stock price bounce upward, and this is a positive sign. Users can still keep their inkjet printers up to the bitter end, since Lexmark has no intention of cutting the thread that binds their commitment to their customers who uses inkjet printers. Lexmark Inkjet printers and Laser printers are truly worth to keep, with proven quality and performance even with their printer supplies and accessories like laser toner cartridges and ink cartridges. Even though they stop making new inkjet printers, customers can still experience Lexmark's product quality with their growing laser technology businesses.
