Saving yourself from the recurring expense of purchasing print cartridges can't be solve unless you stop using your equipment, you can't just put a pause on the expenses that comes from maintaining a printer. Although you can at least diminish the cost but not totally wipe it off, there are such ways on which you can often do with your printer and laser toner cartridges or ink cartridges to stretch their limits. You should also know that shaking it doesn't mean you'll get another full cartridge, you're just extending its life, so you still need to purchase a replacement.
