Brother MFC-J825DW Inkjet Printer

Brother MFC-J825DW Inkjet Printer
Brother unveils another fully-featured inkjet printer, the MFC-J825DW, in addition to Brother's MFP (multifunction printer) range. Competing with other latest MFP inkjet printers in the market that can print, scan, copy and fax, this new brother MFC model provides much surprises and managed to meet the expectations of the consumers. It features a 3.3 inch intuitive touchscreen display for easy access of printing and copying, plus you can view images from PictBridge cameras or memory cards before it gets print.

The Brother MFC-J825DW Inkjet Printer, as an office-centric printer offers a built-in Duplexer for double-sided printing. It was built to focus on office printing needs, either as a home office printer or a small office printer, considered it as the jack of all trades. The MFC-J825DW can send fax and scan over the network, and it also works well as a standalone copier or a fax machine. With its front-panel menu commands, you can either scan or send email through your PC.

It also includes a 20-page ADF that complements the printer's letter-sized flatbed which can be use to scan legal-size documents. The MFC-J825DW comes with two paper-tray compartments that allows the printer to keep a pile of paper sheets, while the other one serves as the photo tray, the only disadvantage from having two compartments is that users need to switch between two sources manually. Users are also limited to a 120-sheet paper input capacity, with no optional tray available.

One notable feature of the MFC-J825DW is the printer's ability to print on printable disc. Although you can also use Brother P-Touch label printers for labeling disc or other printable materials. Using this feature, users can scan images from one disc then print it into another, with such decent result, considering the quality of brother ink cartridges and brother toner cartridges.

The MFC-J825DW has a quoted speed of up to 12 ppm (pages per minute) for standard black printing, and 10 ppm for color printing. It's also compatible with Web Connect Touchscreen that allows the user to access Facebook, Picasa, Flickr and Evernote account via the Web Connect Touchscreen interface.

Aside from the printer's limited paper input capacity, when you round up its feature you'll find it ample enough for a home office or a small office printer. The Brother MFC-J825DW Inkjet printer has a market retail price of $150.
