HP Officejet Pro Black and White 3610 and 3620 AIO Printers

Along with HP's event from where they launched the printer models inline with the Officejet Pro X500 series, HP India also recently announced two new inkjet printers - Officejet Pro Black & White 3610 and Officejet Pro Black & White 3620 AIO printers. Both models use inkjet printing technology, but can offer comparable quality and performance just like a laser type printer.

From their name itself, these two new printers particularly from the Office Pro Black & White series only require black hp inkjet cartridges, monochrome precisely. Sounds like a mono laser printer right? Compared to regular inkjet printers that typically use a set of black and color cartridges, 3610 and 3620 work as  a monochrome inkjet printer.

Since there are customers that prefer inkjets rather than laser types, and they only want to print mostly in plain black, HP's Officejet Pro Black & White printers are perfectly good enough. The Hewlett-Packard Co. was aiming to provide an efficient and reliable machine to customers who rely heavily on laser toner cartridges. On top of the great idea that an inkjet runs the same like a laserjet, the overall running and operating costs of Officejet Pro Black & White printers are also of par to most laser models in the market.

During the said event, Director Nitin Hiranandani stated :
"We at HP continue to advance inkjet innovation to help businesses succeed. The latest HP Officejet Pro 3610/ 3620 Black & White series features high print quality and reliability that offers businesses peace of mind at a very low cost."
Included in their set of additional features are the following : automatic duplexing for double-sided printing, built-in Ethernet, support for HP ePrint and Apple AirPrint. Aside from the basic functionality of printing, copying and scanning, the only difference between the 3610 and 3620 is the additional features that you can only find with the second model which features fax sending and an ADF (automatic-document-feeder).
