HP Envy 5530 e-All-in-One Inkjet Printer Lets You Print Through The Cloud

HP Envy 5530 e-All-in-One Inkjet Printer
Leaning towards home printing, the newest addition in HP's Envy series that offers above average photo print quality including graphics and plain text printing. The HP Envy 5530 e-AIO inkjet printer can handle light-duty printing which basically makes it suitable as a personal home printer or preferably for home-office use.

Since the printer is essentially built for home use, it lacks fax capability neither an automatic document feeder (ADF) which are both physically available in most MFPs that plays the role of an office printer. Whilst basic printer functionality such as print, scan and copy are supported. With additional features that supports direct scanning or previewing of image files from memory cards. Through the printer's wide CGD touchscreen display about 2.65-inch along with soft-touch keys and controls on both sides of the screen.

Paper handling capacity is quite low, but is somehow considerable for what it serves for. A 100-sheet input main tray supplemented with a 30-sheet output tray may be enough to support the level of home-office printing. One of its good note is that it features an automatic duplexer mainly for double-sided printing which is kind of an office-centric feature the HP Envy 5530 offers.

It's very essential nowadays for any house to have its own network connection, wired or wireless it may be. Either ways, the Envy 5530 supports a USB 2.0 host for setting up the printer through a cable, plus a built-in WiFi interface for network connection. Additionally, this device also supports cloud printing, web-based features, and HP Wireless Direct app which allows printing from smartphones and tablets directly to the printer.

The Envy 5530 was rated by its manufacturer with print speed at up to 8.8ppm (pages-per-minute) in mono and 5.2ppm in colour printing. While for copying, it stands at 21cpm (copies-per-minute) in mono and 17cpm in color.

Output quality may seem to offer par quality results for an inkjet printer in its range. Should we be thankful to HP's inkjet printing technology or with the replacement HP inkjet cartridges equipped on it, either ways the Envy 5530 can provide better prints. Summing it up, the HP Envy 5530 e-All-in-One printer serves a nice balance of capacity, connectivity interfaces, features and output quality that a light-duty home-office printer must provide.
