Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4515DN AIO Inkjet Printer

Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4515DN AIO Inkjet Printer
Comes from the latest range of Epson's inkjet devices, the Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4515DN is no less  than the average all-in-one inkjet printers in its range. With basic functions including print, scan and copy, plus a standard duplexer, though it lacks the support for fax. Whilst it offers a good set of features which makes it a well-round printer for small to mid-level printing.

Its physical built and housing are both mediocre, a combination of beige and off-white colored chassis, medium weight and a very simple looking control panel. Apparently it looks like a laser printer at first glance, but actually all its features are mainly of a device that prints with inks. The control panel consists of neatly arranged keys and buttons which include, starting from the left is the switch, then Copy & Scan buttons, a 63mm color screen display right at the center, followed by directional keys, alphanumeric keypad, and three reserved buttons for Stop/Reset, B&W and Color at the far right edge.

Paper tray is located in front of the machine, refilling it with supplies requires pulling it out. The main tray can handle 250 sheets of plain paper, while at the back, a vertical paper hopper can be used for loading special medias like photo papers. The machine's print speed is quite modest, rated at 16ppm (pages-per-minute) in mono, and 11ppm in color printing mode.

One thing that may count to your disappointment is that the WP-4515DN doesn't support wireless connection. Even an optional WiFi is not available, though a USB cable and an Ethernet leaves you no choice but to stick with those two. A USB port situates below the control panel which allows scanning to a USB drive. Its consumables particularly Epson ink cartridges are available in three different capacities such as standard, high-yield and extra high-yield.

This four color inkjet printer provides par performance in terms of output quality and a considerably low costs per page (CPP). Hence it's been eyed by Epson as a laser-based inkjet printer. Duplexing capability, dual paper trays, user-friendly design, above average printout quality, and a notable speed, considering all these plus the machines retail price, over any other printer from its range, probably this one is a good catch.
