Be Concern Not Just With Your Printer

Maintaining printers can be costly nowadays. The main reason of this expensive maintenance comes from the printing consumables that consumers are constantly buying. To prolong the life of your printers, of course, you'll only want the best accessories and printer supplies to use in order to avoid any unexpected failures and problems that may occur when you use products that you're not familiar with. To prevent experiencing downtime of your printers, it's really necessary to think of what you'll be using for your printers.

It's also necessary to be concern of these consumables and not just only with your printer. Inkjet printer uses inkjet cartridges and laser printer uses laser toner cartridges. These printer cartridges are very important to prevent delays of printing and avoid those unpredictable bad timings when you have bulk of tasks to print then suddenly errors pop every where from your screen.

Even printer cartridges need concern. Just a minor negligence can lead to numerous problems and errors that could damage your printer. Dust accumulated inside your printer may cause the cartridges nozzle and print head to clog up. This may cause instances where your printer will refrain from printing though the cartridges are full of ink and toners. This problem can easily be resolved by placing the affected cartridge with the print surface facing down on a damp cloth or paper towel allowing the ink or toner flow through your cartridge.

When your printer still refrains from processing prints then dust may not be the possible cause. It could be that the ink or toner inside the cartridge is dry thus preventing your printer from working properly. One method you can use to loosen the dried ink is by soaking the affected printer cartridge into a bowl of warm water until you feel that the ink inside was completely back to normal.

You can also run series of nozzle check and print head cleaning from your printer, this is very common method of maintaining the performance of your cartridges and also your printer.  To do this, you may follow these simple steps :
  •     First turn your printer on, but make sure you have no queues remaining to print.
  •     Right click the printer icon on your taskbar located at the lower right corner of your desktop.
  •     Choose the option "Nozzle Check"
  •     A dialog box will appear to inform you that a nozzle check will be perform. Click "Print"
  •     Base from the printed output, if there are no gaps or lines click "Finish" from the dialog box. If you're not satisfied with the result, you may click again the Print tab.

You also have the option to recycle your cartridges once your done using them. Just like third party manufacturers who are accepting empty toner and ink cartridges for recycling process and producing remanufactured toner cartridges and ink cartridges. Providing quality and efficient products and printer supplies that are cost-effective compared to original cartridges from brand manufacturers.
