Canon imageCLASS LBP6780dn Mono Laser Printer
Workgroups and offices, most especially those small to medium-size environments, got a lot of choices when it comes to replacing their old printer equipment. The Canon imageCLASS LBP6780dn is a compelling workhorse single-function mono laser printer suitable for offices that demand mid-to-heavy printing capacity.

The LBP6780dn provides an ample paper handling capacity, with an input cassette drawer that can handle 500 sheets, and an additional 100 sheet multipurpose tray. If that sounds short for your workgroup, then avail the printer's optional lockable 500-sheet drawers, and max its capacity up to 1,600 sheets. In addition, it supports duplex (double-sided) printing which helps on reducing paper cost.

It comes with a rated print speed of up to 42 ppm (pages per minute) for mono simplex mode, while it offers 20.5 ppm when the duplexer is in use. Connectivity interfaces are quite limited, it only support an Ethernet and USB connectors, with no WiFi availability, hence it can be used as a shared printer over your office network.

Professional quality prints can be achieved through the LBP6780dn, output quality is one of its strong points. Solid black text of par with most mono laser printers within its price range. Instead of a touchscreen display, the LBP6780dn features a 5-line LCD with a few buttons just below it. Equipped with fine quality toner cartridges, plus an available high-capacity laser toner cartridges perfect for heavy-duty printing in the office. It works really well for almost all professional needs, but not appropriate for desktop publishing applications.

Well considering the standard input capacity that the Canon imageCLASS LBP6780dn could offer, plus its notable print speed and of par mono printout quality, guess it's still a proper choice for medium-sized working environments. Just don't think of the printer's lack of wireless printing support, as it can compensate more of what it can provide, than what it cannot.
