Know More About Canon MG7120 Photo All-In-One Printer

Canon MG7120 Photo All-In-One Printer
In the last quarter of 2013, Canon introduced to the market the PIXMA MG7120 Photo AIO printer. It primarily targets home office users through its solid set of features and functionality that are essentially built for basic to intermediate use.

Basic Features

Basically the MG7120 can print, copy and scan which is totally impressive as it managed to squeeze in these functionality in a real compact size. Its engine is somehow slow especially if you’re printing more of color documents. For black it can shoot out prints at a speed of 15 images per minute while for color it’s a bit ponderous at 10 images per minute. The control panel is very much sophisticated which complements well the design and built of the machine. A perfectly set touch screen LCD about 3.5-inch in size allows image previewing and of course printer navigation. Notices, errors and prompts are displayed clearly especially the ink monitoring system to check the status of equipped Canon CLI-251XL inks. Take note that it requires 6 ink tanks such as the basic CYMK, plus a gray and one enhancer.

Paper Capacity

Paper handling is considerable for its small size. It houses a standard input cassette that can only hold a maximum of 125-sheets. An auxiliary tray comes handy for photo media and specialty papers. It is either you load it with 10 sheets of 5x7 or 20 sheets of 4x6 photo papers. Fortunately, the MG7120 supports automatic duplexing or double-sided printing.

Copying and Scanning

Well, as mentioned users can also scan or copy via the PIXMA MG7120 however both only offer basic support. Copier features document reduction and enlargement, multiple and borderless copying, as well as fit-to-page. The scanner on the other hand uses a flatbed and contact image sensor and allows directly scanning to email and memory cards.

Interfaces

The MG7120 photo printer comes standard with a generous set of connectivity options. Basics are available such as Hi-Speed USB and Ethernet ports, plus memory card slots and PictBridge. Cloud and Air printing are both supported through its wireless LAN. Additionally, a variety of software and utility tools can be downloaded to optimize usage. The Canon PIXMA MG7120 Photo AIO inkjet printer is a good choice for mobile printing, defining it as a suitable device for home use.

Canon PIXMA MG5450 AIO Photo Printer With Pigment And Dye-Based Black Inks

Canon PIXMA MG5450 AIO Photo Printer
The Canon PIXMA MG5450 AIO Photo printer is a low-profile printing buddy for home use. It's basically an essential machine for photo printing, especially if you want to print images on printable CD/DVD discs. Considering that it's an all-in-one device, however it doesn't support fax functionality nor an ADF (Automatic-Document-Feeder).

Just like its predecessors, the MG5450 adopts the glossy black matte finish, office-style aesthetics which is somehow common from the PIXMA family. Its design is partly different from the previous models from its range, especially its flatbed for scanning purposes. This printer features a full-color LCD screen display about 2.9 inch in size, with three keys below for menu navigation. The LCD is not a touchscreen though, with the ON and Home button at the left side of the front panel, while the other buttons like Black, Color, increase, reduce, 4-direction key are all at the right side.

Paper Handling Capacity
Its main input tray can hold a maximum of 125 plain paper sheets, supplemented with a photo paper tray for glossy medias. The output tray can be found just in front of the machine (the cover with the Canon logo)  which folds down and turns itself as an output tray. The MG5450 supports duplex (double-sided) printing which is considered as one of the printer's key-features.

Connectivity Interfaces
A high-speed USB cable host is included, as well as WiFi support for wireless printing. It features an easy access and stable connection between the machine and a PC or even to a tablet. Setup includes a pack of useful software from Canon such as My Image Garden and Creative Park Premium.

The PIXMA MG5450 offers a rated print speed of up to 15ppm (pages-per-minute) in mono and 10ppm in full-colour printing. Well, if you want a really fast inkjet printer that runs the same like a laserjet, you may consider the HP Officejet Pro Black and White 3610 and 3620 AIO Printers, they're also inkjet printers but with comparable speed like lasers. These two printers can only print monochrome documents, and require black HP inkjet cartridges alone.

It uses five Canon ink cartridges which consist of the standard CYM colors, plus a pigment-based and dye-based black ink tanks. Canon MG5450's consumables are all available in both standard and high-capacity cartridges.

First-Rate Apple AirPrint Supported Printers To Buy

First-Rate Apple AirPrint Supported Printers To Buy
Apple website provides a full list of printer models that support the Apple AirPrint app. But which among those compatible printers from their checklist can be the best or the most outstanding device in terms of AirPrint support. Let's start our own rundown with the perfect AirPrint printing buddies for office working environment.

The HP Photosmart 5520 eAIO printer is one of the considerable and affordable model from the HP list of Apple AirPrint compatible printers. Followed by the HP Envy 120 eAIO that supports not only printing from your iOS device, but can also charge your device while waiting for your printout. If you want a luxurious equipment that supports a wide variety of business apps including AirPrint, consider the HP Laserjet Pro 200 (MFP M276nw). Printers from the HP Officejet Pro X series are highly noted for their incredibly fast printing speed, topped with above-average output quality which makes them a good choice. There are a few models that support printing from virtually anywhere, but for now these HP printers are considered first-rate among the others. Their price tag falls in the bracket of somewhat affordable machines, however the consumables particularly HP inkjet cartridges will cost you more than the unit itself. Aside from Apple's well-known AirPrint, the Officejet Pro X series is also compatible to work with other similar applications.

Cost-wise, if you want a mid-priced AirPrint compatible printer that can also provide a decent set of features, Canon has a wide range to offer. Last 2011, there were three canon printers that get to support Apple AirPrint app, these are the PIXMA MG8220, MG6220 and MG5320. As it seems, the MG series continues the legacy by releasing more AirPrint supported PIXMA printers particularly from the MG family. If you're asking which one among those Canon printers is the most worthy,  I say it is the MG5350. It even had a video from YouTube that shows how easy it is to use the printer and print from an iOS device through AirPrint.

Now if you really need a much affordable machine that supports Apple AirPrint app, Epson printers are populating this bracket. One of the company's best selling model is the Epson XP-302 that offers low upfront and running cost. There's also the WorkForce WF-3520DWF AirPrint supported printer, which is a bit pricey. Epson's XP series are suitable to serve as home printers, and its majority support Apple AirPrint app.

If you need a full list of printer models from all brands, check out Apple's website or click this link..

Canon PIXMA MX392 Office AIO Inkjet Photo Printer

Canon PIXMA MX392 Office AIO Inkjet Photo Printer
A replacement and not an upgraded model, that's how you'll probably describe it when you see the Canon PIXMA MX392 Office AIO printer. Why did I say so? Comparing the previous model Canon PIXMA MX372 to this new one, the MX392, you'll notice not just a slight nor minimal differences, as both offers the same features. However the output quality breaks the tie between these two printer models.

Dedicated for office printing needs, the MX392 offers an automatic document feeder plus the it serves as a standalone fax machine and copier as well. Using it as a home printer can be too easy for this machine. Talking about multi-functionality, it can print and fax from a PC, as well as scan multi-page documents. Scan to a PC with its letter-sized flatbed that supports legal-sized scanning of pages and files.

It features a 30-page automatic-document-feeder (ADF), supplemented with a 100-sheet capacity input tray for plain paper with no duplexing feature. The MX392 is somehow limited to light-duty printing, and unfortunately it doesn't support networking features hence it can't be used as a shared printer. Having said that, if it leans more into office printing, maybe it fits well enough for a micro office.

Canon rated the printer at 8.7 ipm (images-per-minute) in mono, and 5.0 ipm in coloured printing. Borderless photo printing supports a print speed up to 46 seconds per single sheet of 4"x6" sized photo. The MX392 offers a maximum printing resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 color dpi for that vivid and high quality photo printout quality.

It doesn't feature an intuitive touchscreen, instead it only has a two-line LCD display, with clearly labeled buttons around it, including the numeric keypad on its right side. For the printer's Canon ink cartridges requirement, CL-241 color ink and PG-240 black ink are both available in standard and high-capacity page-yield. Try to check the market to see their price, I suggest not to be surprise as Canon ink cartridges and laser toner cartridges are still on the expensive bracket.

Overall, the Canon PIXMA MX392 Office All In One printer is best suited for micro offices that require low-level printing capacity, and considerably not in need of network printing. If you only print, say, a couple of pages each day, yet scanning , copying  and fax are also a daily requirement, this printer might be a good choice considering its price.

Canon PIXMA MG3260 Inkjet Multifunction Printer

Canon PIXMA MG3260 Inkjet Multifunction Printer
Canon seems to love upgrading, although I still haven't featured the previous version of today's featured printer but I'll try to work on it over the weekend as a follow up post. Anyway as I've said, Canon PIXMA MG3260 Inkjet Multifunction printer is the upgraded model of Canon MG3160. Since it's been updated, let's see how well-packed it is over the MG3160.

The Canon MG3260 features a single-digit color LED display which also serves as indicator for the number of copies, when using the printer as a standalone copier. Alongside the display are nine mounted buttons including the ON/OFF switch. It comes with a glossy black matte finish chassis, a quite typical aesthetic from PIXMA family. The WiFi blue LED indicator is installed on the lid of the front panel just below the red-color button.

One of its notable features include scanning, copying and borderless printing in A4-max sized documents. Supports automatic duplex printing that lets any home office or small-office environment to save time and money. Aside from the printer's high-speed USB interface that you can use to connect the device to a PC, it also has wireless network capability for scanning and printing over a WiFi network, or use your iOS enabled devices to send photos, email, web pages to your printer via Apple AirPrint app.

Canon's PIXMA MG3260 uses ink cartridges (PG640, CL641, PG640XL, CL641XL, PG640XXL) built with FINE print head technology. Top it up with its rated speed of up to 9.2 ipm (monocrome), 5 ipm (color), and 44 sec for A4-sized medias. If you're not much impressed with its speed, nor concern of wireless printing functionality, Canon still has the MG2260 to offer, actually these two models are identical in many ways especially their built.

Paper handling capacity was fairly low, its input tray can only hold 100 sheets of plain paper, which makes the printer more suitable for home use or micro offices. Scan and printout quality are more likely sufficient and at par to most of its competitor. But unless you're not into printing high resolution photos, the HP DeskJet 2510 All In One Color Inkjet Printer can offer a balance of quality and speed. Likewise, Brother HL-3170CDWcan be considerable choice, although this is an LED printer that requires laser toner cartridges instead of inks.

Along with the printer's included software, it also comes with Easy WebPrint EX, My Image Garden, MP Navigator EX, Easy PhotoPrint EX, and Canon Solutions. Canon EEP and Apple AirPrint can be downloaded from Apple Store for iOS devices, or Play Store for Android powered devices.

There are a lot of photo printers in the market closest to Canon MG3260's price, you can check out my recent posts and compare features over another. If you need an inexpensive printer with low running cost, and sports a good set of features, Canon PIXMA MG3260 Inkjet Multifunction printer is a good choice.

Canon PIXMA MG5420 Wireless Inkjet AIO Photo Printer

Canon PIXMA MG5420 Wireless Inkjet AIO Photo Printer
In addition to Canon's latest models from the MG-series, here's the Canon PIXMA MG5420 Wireless Inkjet AIO Photo printer, which is similar to MG4220 All-In-One printer, but of course this one comes with a slight increased in price. Whilst it offers the same functionality just like the MG4220, this new model provides better and reasonably substantial features.

One notable feature of the MG5420 is its capability to print on optical CD/DVD discs, which makes it really suitable for a home-office printer. Although it doesn't support wired networking, the built-in WiFi that comes with it compensates it all. A multifunction printer as it is, yet without fax, so you're limited to print, copy and scan. More so, you can directly scan to or print from a memory card, that's kind of really useful.

Its paper-handling capacity holds a 125-sheet input main tray, plus a 20-sheet photo paper tray, both enough to support light-duty printing in the office. There's also the duplex (double-sided) printing and copying functionality but without an ADF (automatic-document-feeder), which leads you to no choice of manually turning over the pages on the printer's flatbed.

With the MG5420's 3-inch color LCD display, aside from navigating the printer with it, previewing images from memory cards can be so easy. Canon rated the printer with print speed up to 15 ipm (images-per-minute) for black printing, and 10 ipm for coloured. Borderless photo printing can also be done at an approximate speed of 20 seconds per image.

The PIXMA MG5420 is equipped with 5 dye-based ink system, on which you only have to replace a cartridge that runs out of ink. Canon's pigment-based inks are truly exceptional in producing crisp and professional printouts may it be mono or color prints. Considerably, printer consumables from Canon which includes their laser toner cartridges and ink cartridges are comparably less expensive.

For a multifunction printer, the Canon PIXMA MG5420 Wireless Photo Inkjet AIO serves really well for its purpose. High-quality text and photo printout, nice print speed, optical discs and duplex printing, all these for such a great value. This photo printer works suitably well for any home or home-office that requires light-capacity printing.

Canon PIXMA iP7220 Inkjet Photo Printer

If you want to have a new photo printer then consider checking what Canon PIXMA iP7220 Inkjet Photo Printer has to offer. But you have to take note that this one doesn't offer a wired network support, instead the built-in WiFi will only be your option when connecting to a network. One notable feature of the iP7220 printer is that it supports printing on optical discs. The Canon PIXMA iP7220 Inkjet photo printer provides a competitive set of features which can be useful enough as a personal or home-office printer.

Although it doesn't offer much paper handling capacity, for a home-office printer, its main tray handles 125-sheet input capacity, and is supplemented by a 20-sheet photo paper tray. Don't take this printer too small, behind its compact size and built are noteworthy features that makes it awesome. In addition to its functionality to print on optical discs, it also supports Duplex (double-sided) printing feature which can help you reduce paper usage by half.

When it comes to speed, Canon rated the printer at 15 ppm (pages per minute) for standard black printing, and 10 ppm for coloured printing. The PIXMA iP7220 supports border-less printing with its photo paper tray that can handle 4"x6" sized media. With a notably high print resolution about 9600x2400 color dpi (dots-per-inch) according to Canon's provided printer spec.

The printer supports 5-color ink system which consists of 4 dye-based ink cartridges plus a pigment-based black ink cartridges for exceptional printout quality. Thus the quality of every printout you made with the Canon PIXMA iP7220 photo printer is truly of par with the most recent inkjet photo printers that were released by other manufacturers. Canon ink cartridges and laser toner cartridges may be a bit hefty in price but when it comes to quality, you can absolutely rely on their products.

If you want to send prints from your iOS devices, you need to install Canon Easy PhotoPrint which is available on App Store, while for Android powered devices, try checking for the app on Google Play. For printer users who always demand for the best graphic quality, and considerably fast print speed, Canon PIXMA iP7220 Inkjet Photo Printer is one of your good choice.

Canon PIXMA MX926 Colour Multifunction Inkjet Printer

Canon PIXMA MX926 Colour Multifunction Inkjet Printer
In addition to Canon's home and home office printer line-up, here's one of their latest MFP printer, the Canon PIXMA MX926 Colour Multifunction Inkjet Printer. It's been said that this high-end model replaces the previous PIXMA MX895. With a stylish black aesthetic and built that resemble its predecessors from the M-series of inkjet printers. This new model offers great features to help you run smoothly a home office or just a small business environment that requires a mid-level printing capacity.

Leaning towards providing a mid-level printing performance, the Canon PIXMA MX926 can also be used for high-level print volume provided that you purchase the XXL-size ink cartridges which are available separately. In plain black (monochrome) printing, if the printer is equipped with high-page-yield cartridges, it can deliver about 1,000 pages of A4-sized printout, suitable for professional business printing medias.

The  Canon PIXMA MX926 features an ADF (automatic-document-feeder) that can handle a maximum capacity of 35 sheets. Users can set a multi-page or even double-sided document on the printer's input tray - applicable for scanning, copying and fax. The printer's main tray (dual-size-capacity) situated at the front is capable of handling up to 250 sheets of A4 sized plain papers, while it can still accommodate photo papers up to 20 sheets, for special purpose printing.

It comes with a rated print speed of about 10 ipm (impressions-per-minute) for coloured printing, while it shoots about 15 ipm for standard mono printing. The Canon PIXMA MX926 is equipped with premium Canon inkjet cartridges for vivid and crisp printout quality. What's good with Canon laser toner cartridges and ink cartridges is that, they can be replaced and remove individually whichever runs out of ink or toner, without the requirement to replace the other cartridges.

For the printer's connectivity interfaces, it comes with a built-in WiFi as well as wired Ethernet connection. Both options allow users to connect their printer over a network and set it up as workgroup or network printer which can be shared by multiple computers and laptops. Experience the ease of printing from your smartphone or tablets, or scan to your WiFi-enabled devices through AirPrint and Google Cloud Print applications.

The Canon PIXMA MX926 Colour Multifunction Inkjet Printer is available for a very reasonable price, and will be released by March.

Canon PIXMA MG6320 Wireless InkJet Photo AIO Printer

Canon PIXMA MG6320 Wireless InkJet Photo AIO Printer
PIXMA printers are raining this year, if you're looking for a bountiful selection of high class AIO (all-in-one) printers, then Canon might have not just one, ten or twenty, but more than what you have expected. Ranging in very much reasonable prices and boasted with great features, everyone would brag about these printers. Canon, the printer giant in Japan, released a wave of premium quality business and personal photo printers from last year and still continuing the tide this 2013.

In addition to our recent post - Canon PIXMA MG6370 and PIXMA MG5470 Office AIO Inkjet Printers, on which we introduced two latest model of printers from the Canon MG-series. One would described it as a sophisticated-looking printer, photo-centric, multifunctional and creates exceptional printouts, that's the Canon PIXMA MG6320. When it comes to finest-quality printouts of photos or images, Canon printers serve a very well performance, that's not surprising since you deserved what you paid for.

Canon PIXMA MG6320 Wireless InkJet Photo AIO printer, the replacement printer model for MG6220 which was released back in 2011. Built with an imaging system consisting of six ink tanks for better and professional photo printout quality. It can serve as a light-duty or an all-around printer in most offices, capable enough to deliver printout quality that can compete with its predecessors.

Unfortunately the MG6320 offers no ADF (automatic document feeder), thus printing multiple pages with this printer will somehow be more laborious. But considering its dimension at (HWD) 5.9x18.4x14.6 inches I guest that's a bit acceptable. Featuring an automatic fall-and-extend front panel that also serves as the output tray when printing files, while you can close it up after, or when the printer is not in use.

Sophisticated and high-tech as it is, the PIXMA MG6320 features a touch-sensitive LED button that acts intelligently by displaying appropriate functions on the screen, related to your task. Unlike the typical buttons you might have seen from other printers, Canon embedded the button controls into the lid of the printer's scanner, except for the POWER button and the five-way navigation wheel. It's also equipped with a 3.5 inch touch screen LCD display.

Connectivity interfaces doesn't include a USB port, although it supports other types of memory devices - SD, MS Duo, and CF, a user can still connect to the printer via Wi-Fi,  Ethernet and through the printer's USB cable. Another notable feature of MG6320 is the functionality to print labels on printer-compatible CD/DVD surfaces. My Image Garden is also included in the printer's supported software.

Setting up the printer would be so easy for most printer users, as the LCD displays the entire process that will guide you all throughout the installation process, even the proper replacement of its ink cartridges. The ink system holds four standard colors-CYMK, plus an extra-large black pigment and gray ink cartridges. These technology isn't something new on most latest inkjet photo printers, while for laser type printers that use laser toner cartridges the application of this technology is yet unknown.

All in all, if you're small business or office just needs a minimal-printing capacity, the PIXMA MG6320 Wireless InkJet Photo AIO printer can serve more than enough when it comes to professional business-style printouts and performance.

About a few weeks ago, in the CES 2013 International trade-show, Canon released a new range of PIXMA printers with boasted features and budget friendly cost. Now this one, although it may seem as a redesign desktop photo printer from Canon, well it comes in a more decent price while offering a pack of features.

The Canon PIXMA iP7250 photo printer comes with a redesign aesthetic and built, having a dimension of (HxWxD) 128 x 451x 368 , with a few adjustments to provide a better printing experience for the user. Locate the button at the right side of the printer's front panel, pressing it will fold the panel down with a support that swings out from the lower edge, this is for the printer's paper support. A conventional printer requires the user to manually  flip the paper support, but the PIXMA iP7250 brings all the ease for its user.

It comes with two paper trays jam inside to serve a better space, one supporting a 125 sheet of A4 size paper that serves as the main tray and the other fits 20 sheet of photo paper. The PIXMA iP7250's highly noted features include, wireless connection with direct print, Duplex (double-sided) printing, and works with iOS, Android as well as AirPrint enable devices. Aside from the wireless connectivity that it offers, it also comes with a USB port. Users have the convenience to print without a PC, instead they can use their smartphones and tablets that are capable of wireless printing, and print through Canon's Easy Photo Print application. It also comes with an enhanced print resolution of about 9600 x 2400 dpi, plus a quoted print speed of 15 ppm (black printing) and 10 ppm (colour printing).

Canon ink cartridges and laser toner cartridges price ranged from $20.99 up to more than $200.
